3D models

You see your model

We design the structure in a 3D model first, using Building Information Modelling (BIM). You get to see how it works with your design before anything is built.

What that means for your project

Most structural engineering is still issued as flat drawings. You're left to picture how the beams, posts and footings fit around your rooms, windows and services.

We build the structure as a 3D model instead. Walk around it, look inside it, and see exactly where each member goes. When everyone is looking at the same model, questions get answered sooner and surprises on site are rarer.

How it works

  1. Your plans

Send us your architectural drawings, sketches or photos of the existing building.

  2. We build the model

We model the structure inside your design: footings, floors, walls, beams and roof.

  3. You review it

We share views of the model, or walk you through it, so you and your team can raise questions.

  4. Drawings and computations

Construction drawings and computations are produced from the same model, ready for your building surveyor and builder.

Who it helps

Home owners

See what you are building before you sign up for it. No need to read engineering drawings.

Architects and designers

Check that the structure respects the design intent, and resolve clashes during design, not during the build.

Builders

Understand the structure and its sequence before you price and order materials.

Software includes Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Advanced Steel and Civil 3D.
